It was my friend's birthday celebration. So a number of us went to Spasso Milano Antipasti buffet to celebrate her birthday.

Spasso Milano before this was located at Nihonkan Club near to Great Eastern Mall. Recently it just moved to a crowded happening place- Pavilion shopping centre.

Antipasti, in Italian word, means before meal. So this buffet emphasis on appetizer. The price was increased from RM18++ at old venue (without main course) to RM28++ at Pavilion (with main course, but without drink). Still, it's a very affordable price for western buffet.

The main course is inclusive of Roasted of the Day- the roasted chicken and meat.

What they mean antipasti? Garlic bread, soup, pasta, vegetables type like: grilled asparagus, tomato, baked pumpkin, salad; grilled clams, potato balls, onion rings, and lots more..

We started with soup, the bread, and so the others.

I highly recommend their Garlic Grilled Clam. If you like garlic, it would be superb!

We had a slice of birthday cake for my friend! She looked so excited when we brought her the cake!

Dessert are served too: Various type of cake slice- Chocolate Banana, Marble Cheese, Orange, etc..and fruits.
Gelato- ice cream is included in the buffet. Surprisingly, the ice cream tasted very nice with wide range of choices: vanila, coffee, mango, strawberry, mix nuts, pistachio, black sesame, etc.

Drinks can be ordered at price started with RM3++ for RO Water to RM10++ for juice.


Obviously the price for the lunch buffet is very affordable comparing to others. The choices are lesser, as you will feel like finish trying all the types after a few rounds. However the quality of food is really maintained even they produce a lot in a single buffet session.

Spasso Milano only offers buffet session for lunch. At night, ala-carte style Italian food is served. Make sure you make reservation first as the place is quite small and it's normally full during weekends.

In overall, i believe 80% of us were satisfied with the food and services provided. So this Restaurant is highly recommended if you haven't try it!
