Singapore Food: Dian Xiao Er Roasted Duck

Dian Xiao Er, i don't understand what it exactly means, but i know they serve special roasted duck sauce!

This is their attraction, readily roasted duck in front of the shop. The Xiao-er-ge will chop the duck when you make any order. (Xiao-er: That was how my friend addressed the waiter and he answered him!)

We ordered a set of few dishes, which came with a small bowl of soup and rice for everyone and of course, consisted of the special roasted duck.

And this is the main character- Dian Xiao Er Roasted Duck!

At the side of the roasted duck, that is the special sauce: Ten wonder herbal sauce! We also tried on the Ginseng herbal Sauce. Both are marvelous! I was thinking, i should have brought the sauce home so that my mother can start to experiment on how to make it!

I think i should love the roasted duck, not the sauce, but i still love the special sauce! Thanks to my cousin for the treat, specially arranged to welcome me. I will surely miss it when i am back to Malaysia.

(Click the link for Sunway Giza location)
http://www.sunwaygizamall.com/location.asp
Type of cuisine: (Asian) Chinese style

That is the famous big-head Prawn!

Big-head prawn in soup. I prefer this than the previous cooking style very much. The prawn is fresh and sweet.

Other dishes we ordered:
Braised Chicken in aluminium foil,

Simple mixed vegetables with mushroom,

Spinach Taufu with minced meat,

Caution, this is not our drink. But this is provided to clean away prawn's smell on your fingers!

Do they mean this soy sauce is just for ME? (SAYA= me in malay language)

In overall, the restaurant provides standard and nice food at reasonable price and the portion is quite big too.

Restaurant Sam U Claypot

We visited this restaurant, it looks like selling chicken rice with all those roasted chicken, steamed chicken, roasted duck, ipoh bean sprout etc..
But we ordered none of them!

The claypot ribs,

This is their special dish, Claypot Asam seafood..

Bittergourd with salted egg, definitely a yes for those who doesn't like bittergourd, as it's not bitter at all, covered by the salted egg.

Steamed egg, as soft as Taufufa

The special SiQuan taste Taufu soup, best to serve with black vinegar, with lots of fresh mushrum and sliced Taufu inside.

It's located in PJ area, somewhere near to Asia jaya.
We saw an artist during our visit there (it's proven that this shop is quite famous).

New Restaurant Ipoh Chicken Rice, PJ

This restaurant gives us a feeling of fast food, as everything is considered express here. The process of taking order takes about 3 minutes, i guess their waiters are very well-trained. The preparation time until the food served takes about 5 minutes, i think the food is readily prepared even before you order.(to ensure everything is going smooth during the Sunday lunch time.) And you can enjoy your food in 10 minutes time!

The food served has standard quality, and of great variety, namely roasted chicken, steamed chicken, bean sprout, meat ball in soup, fish, etc.

The clam here is not a famous dish, but we like the special simple aroma very much.

This restaurant will surely be your choice if you miss Ipoh Chicken Rice very much.
