They catch the lobster fresh! yummy, it's very freshly sweet lobster!

Chong Qing Chicken Hot Pot, Kuchai Lama

重庆鸡公煲

Restaurant Chong Qing Chicken Hot Pot at Kuchai Lama. The menu is designed in simple way, you can only choose either- Chicken, Ribs, Beef, Fish or Prawn, with fixed cooking style. The hot pot is served under fire, to keep the food warm all the time. I couldn't stop thinking of the special taste, the combination of all the herbs and chili used, is just nice and makes it great! We ordered 1 pot of Ribs Hot Pot, which tasted nice, and another Prawn Hot Pot, which tasted superb! You can choose the level of spiciness- slightly spicy, medium spicy and super spicy. For me, i think all tasted the same.. =p
What i can say, if you like spicy, you will love this so much!

Kiki Taiwan Cuisine is located at Suria KLCC Level 4, by Fong Lye Restaurant.

Most of the main courses are served in Set. But the price starts from as low as RM19++ per set including main course, side dish, white rice and soup.

For the main course, we ordered a Steamed Fish Set. It is inclusive of Steamed Fish, white rice, Boiled Chicken Soup, Anchovies and vegetable, and a Custard Bun.

I believed the chicken soup was boiled by individual bowl for each serving as the taste was very strong and sweet.

The side dish- stir fry clam was served in a big portion than expected! But it's never enough for me. Seafood is my favourite.

The corn soup was cooked with corn, ham-sliced, and crabmeat stick. If wanna compare between corn soup and the chicken soup, i would say, the chicken soup was far tastier than this.

I think the "Japanese wind" is blowing, that's why we had Japanese food almost every week!

This week, we had it at Sunway Giza Mall. The decoration of this place was very unique with strong home-sweet-home feeling. There were lots of handmade craft, even for sales.

The feeling when we walked inside was, "wow..is this a restaurant?" It was the feeling of coziness. The menu of the food was just like magazines.

The food was served fast. For the main courses, We ordered each set of:

1. Salmon Sashimi Set
which came with Chawanmushi, salad, miso soup and green tea

2. Unagi Rice Set
which came with Chawanmushi, salad, miso soup and ice-cream

The way the food was presented was special, as the Chawanmushi was served in the steel cup that we used for milo during young time. And the Miso soup was served in the brown glass cup that our grandparent used for coffee last time.

Salmon Sashimi was in big piece, Chawanmushi was smooth that it just melt in my mouth, and need not to mention green tea ice cream which is my favourite!

After meal, we still had some stomach space for dessert. The cold vanila ice cream seemed to be the best partner of hot chocolate lava cake. I love it so much!

The food here is nice and special. But the price is a bit higher than standard Japanese food. There is a 50% discount promotion on selected food after 9.30pm.

I will definitely come back to this place again.
