Kei Tak Sek, KTZ Dim Sum Restaurant SS2

Previously i shared post about Kei Tak Sek SS2 branch: Restaurant Kei Tak Sek SS2. That was long time ago. After that we always visit the place but never update the pictures.

Recently we went there again.

As usual, black sesame paste is a must-order-item. We ordered also peanut paste.
This is the first time we ordered the Zha Jiang Mian. It tasted very homecooked with ingredients such as mushroom, carrot, vegetable and lotus root.
Besides, (although it's bit oily) but still love the dumpling- Wo Tip .

Yummy.

Snowflake again!

I visited Snowflake again, for the Soya series this time. Previously i visited Snowflake Kota Damansara branch and posted before about Snowflake Kota Damansara. Recently i went to Snowflake Mid Valley. It's situated at the top of shopping complex floor, same floor as GSC Cinema of Mid Valley, outside Mid Valley Exhibition Centre and Pets Wonderland.

I remembered previously in Snowflake Kota Damansara, i waited only for less than 1-minute time for the UFO to blink. But this time i waited for around 3-minute time, so i have more time to investigate on this UFO plate..=_^

Beeping UFO as reminder of ready order at Snowflake

Beeping UFO was beeping when the order was ready

I wanted to try the new Japan Combo II, but during my visit, they had run out of red bean (I guess all has been eaten by UFO). So i had to try the new Japan Soya Series without red bean.

This is my Japan Combo II!

This is the new Ocha Ball. It's chewable, very Q and very satisfying with slight green tea smell.

We ordered another Soya Series with topping of Grass Jelly, Peanuts, Pearl and green bean.

Soya Series with topping

I guess i love Soya Series more than Grass Jelly Series! For details of Grass Jelly, refer to my previous post at Snowflake Kota Damansara.

Singapore Food: Mun Kee Honeymoon Dessert

Like the name, i feel sweet like honeymoon-ing, trying so many types of special dessert.
It took us very long to order, there were so many different types of dessert listed on both the pages!

Can't wait for the dessert! Although it took us half an hour for the long queue, it's worth!
Let me introduce our order, but wait, there were so many choices that i can't remember all the exact name!

Vanila ice-cream with herbal jelly, trust me, it's not that sweet!

Fruits with vanila ice-cream and frog-egg,

This is the must-order, my favourite! Black glutinous rice with mango and vanila,

Special Beancurb with Pomelo vanila juice and mango,

Beancurd filled with mixed fruits,

Red bean soup with vanila ice-cream, a simple one, but still nice!

Tong-Bat-Lat. Glutinous rice mixed with peanut and sugar,

All these look nice, but they are just displayed food and not edible. But i think they look quite tempting!

I highly recommend this shop, as they serve fresh and standard tong sui. Most importantly, all the tong sui tasted just nice, not too sweet, and it's definitely better for your health compared to the sweet one.

Restaurant Kei Tak Sek ss2

This restaurant is not new to us, nor the readers. But their quality of food is maintained, as well as the customers. During our visit, it was around 5.30 pm, before normal dinner time, and customers had already started to come in for food!
The branch that we visited is in ss2, near Wai Sek Kai.

I like the dessert very much, especially the black sesame soup. Black sesame is good for health, but some don't like the taste of this dessert. The popular dessert is Sai Mai Lo - the fruit ice, but we didnt order that. Not only Sai Mai Lo, other dessert price range is reasonable too.

The black sesame soup,

The water chestnut soup with egg,

Red bean,

This porridge is nice, with lots of meat slice, and jelly egg (dark color Pei Dan)..

The side-dishes are worth trying, sold at reasonable price, from RM2++ to RM5++..

The steam dumpling,

The boxing chicken,

The glutinous rice, (Lo Mai Kai)

The main dish, fried rice,
(It's presentable, but it's not that popular)
